Savez vous qu&rsquo;autrefois le quatre-quarts \u00e9tait appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0manqu\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb car, si l&rsquo;on croit le \u00ab\u00a0Dictionnaire universel de cuisine\u00a0\u00bb un jeune apprenti qui avait manqu\u00e9 son biscuit de Savoie le rattrapa en l&rsquo;arrosant de beurre et de liqueur. Dans le bol du robot, mettez le beurre que vous aurez coup\u00e9 en petits cubes et les sucres, m\u00e9langez jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;obtention d&rsquo;une pommade. Ajoutez les \u0153ufs un par un en m\u00e9langeant entre chaque. Ajoutez ensuite la farine et la levure pr\u00e9alablement tamis\u00e9es. M\u00e9langez intimement. Pr\u00e9chauffez le four \u00e0 180\u00b0C. Beurrez et farinez un moule \u00e0 cake, manqu\u00e9 ou autre et verse-y la pr\u00e9paration. Faites cuire pendant 30 minutes environ. V\u00e9rifiez la cuisson avec la lame d&rsquo;un couteau.
